A European importer contacted M-asia while facing major challenges with their China sourcing supply chain. Their existing supplier was unable to maintain consistent production schedules, resulting in repeated delays and rising logistics costs.

Because shipments were often late, the company had to rely heavily on air freight from China to Europe, with nearly 50% of goods being flown instead of shipped by sea.

M-asia began by analysing the complete sourcing process, including supplier performance, production timelines, and shipping routes.

Using our local presence in China, we identified new manufacturing partners, evaluated their production capabilities, and organised product sampling. Once the most suitable supplier was selected, we implemented structured production planning to align manufacturing with container shipping schedules.

We also optimised the logistics route and port of departure to improve delivery reliability.

The result was a significantly improved China-to-Europe supply chain. The client reduced costly air freight shipments, stabilised their production planning, and achieved predictable delivery timelines.
